    The sanitation system in your swimming pool plays a vital role in eliminating bacteria and microorganisms that are invisible to the naked eye. Traditionally, this process relies on chlorine in various forms, including tablets, liquid solutions, or salt systems. At Penguin Pools, we use saltwater chlorine generators as a standard feature in all our inground swimming pools to ensure effective sanitation and water quality maintenance.

    To further enhance water clarity and sanitation in your swimming pool, we also incorporate an Instant Frog mineral system and IntelliChem in every pool. These systems work together to balance water chemistry while reducing the need for excess chemicals, ultimately saving you money and providing a more enjoyable swimming experience.

    Saltwater swimming pools are becoming more and more popular as the price of these units are now affordable. IntelliChlor salt water chlorinator generators use common table salt to produce all the chlorine a pool needs, safely, effectively, and automatically. IntelliChlor has the same sanitation performance as manual chlorine addition, without all the drawbacks. Customers don’t need to buy, transport, and store chlorine compounds at their home any longer.

    Pentair IntelliChem

    IntelliChem is an advanced water chemistry controller that continuously monitors and adjusts pH and chlorine sanitizer levels in pools and spas. It uses sophisticated sensors and automation technology to maintain optimal chemical balance, ensuring that the pool water remains safe, clean, and clear at all times.

    The system operates by:

    • Measuring pH and Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) levels in real-time.
    • Automatically dispensing the required amount of acid or chlorine to maintain proper balance.
    • Working seamlessly with your salt chlorine generator or traditional chlorine pools.
    • Integrating with pool automation systems for remote monitoring and control.

    An Instant Frog is a mineral-based swimming pool water treatment system designed to supplement traditional chlorine sanitation. It utilizes a combination of natural minerals to enhance water quality by reducing chlorine demand, preventing algae growth, and improving overall water clarity.

    Pentair In-Line Chlorinators

    Classic pool sanitation is done by putting chlorine into your swimming pool to kill all the “bad stuff”. Pentair’s Automatic Chlorinator is a simple way to add chlorine to your pool. You simply add chlorine tablets in the top of the cylinder for constant chlorine feeding, no need for the “floating duck”. The chlorinator mounts on the return line immediately after the pool heater.

    There must be a check valve placed between your heater and the in-line chlorinator to prevent and backdrafting of the chlorine gas.
